Applicants must be current AGA members and available to meet virtually at all of the above listed dates and times.

Overview

    • Key concepts your bank or financing partner will be looking at and you should too when understanding how deals are going from a dream, to a concept, and ultimately getting approved and funded.

    • Understand the concepts of Cash Flow, Debt Service Coverage, Leverage, Interest Reserve, Feasibility Studies, Appraisals, and so much more.

    • A crash course on ground up construction and how to be best prepared and realistic about how projects go from breaking ground to the day they welcome guests. Will also talk through expansion and rehab of existing businesses.

    • Joined by Andrew Bock of Live Oak Bank construction team who heads up the group responsible for the construction of all our Glamping opportunities.

    • Andrew will share what owners and contractors get right and also what he has seen go wrong to hopefully prevent folks from making the same mistakes.

  • Live Oak Bank’s motto is that we are “Dedicated to the Doers”. This session will focus on the journey two of our customers took from an initial dream to taking the jump and opening their own business.
